If this wave fails

If the threshold is not met by the close date, nothing is charged, no membership unit is issued, commitments carry forward. A company that cannot wait may take a Lock Management LLC contract after a diagnostic. That contract is not a co-op seat.

Commitments and governance

No employment data is collected on this site. A commitment is a work email and an entity shape. Membership units are not sold here. Counsel names the membership path later.

What you are leaving

A free, non-binding commitment to a founding seat. The seat counts when the founder has sat the diagnostic hour, will sit the monthly people review, and confirms in the conversion window. Until then it is an email and a shape: size band, sector, geography, a condition for joining, and optionally a bloc.

We do not collect employee files, payroll, surveys, or any other people-data through this door. That wait is deliberate. This page exists first.

If the threshold is not met

If the threshold is not met by the close date, nothing is charged, no membership unit is issued, commitments carry forward. A company that cannot wait may take a Lock Management LLC contract after a diagnostic. That contract is not a co-op seat.

A Lock Management LLC contract taken after a diagnostic is a vendor relationship. It is not a co-op seat and does not become one by endurance.

If acquired

If the operator is acquired, this commitment list is not a transferable customer file for a PEO, payroll bureau, recruiter, or HRIS buyer. Members stay the employer. An acquirer does not inherit a membership unit that was never issued. If the acquiring entity will not operate a shared-services co-op on these terms, the wave ends under the failure branch.

If insolvent

If the operator cannot continue, gathering stops. State is published. Nothing is charged. No membership unit is issued. Commitments carry forward only if a successor publishes the same terms — same unit, same failure branch, same refusal of PEO. Otherwise they lapse as non-binding emails.

If breached

The store holds work email and entity shape. There is no employment file here to leak. Affected committers are notified. The store is rotated. That is the whole of the people-data risk on this door, and why it stays this thin until a membership vehicle and a data-handling answer exist together.

If we pivot

If Lock stops being a shared-services co-op — if it becomes a PEO, a staffer, an HRIS, or a fractional hour block — gathering ends. Commitments do not convert into a different product. The failure branch applies. Alignment is the hard problem; a rename is not an answer.

Wind-down

A wind-down is a published state change, not a quiet close. We stop taking commitments, leave the meter and the failure branch up, and delete or return the commitment store on the schedule below. No membership unit is created in a wind-down to salvage a wave.

Deletion

Write mike@peopleanalyst.com with subject Delete commitment. Email and entity shape for that commitment are removed. There are no employment records to delete. Residual backups, if any, age out on the host's ordinary cycle.

Succession

Until counsel names a membership vehicle, Mike West / Lock Management LLC operates this door. A named successor, or a member vote, is a property of that later vehicle — not of an email commitment. The diagnostic hour and an LLC contract are not succession of the co-op.
